The a7 IV's extensive customization and power come at the cost of complexity, though. The Z9 EVF might be less jerky than the A1's - I don't know. To date there is no test of EVFs available anywhere. In fact we don't have a single reliably impartial test of the Z9. I don't care what Fro or Tony think, or Nikon shooters like Hogan or Granger - I want to read DPR and Cameralabs. Gordon Laing was not even given a pre-production Z9. Either Nikon don't want him to have one or there's a shortage. If it was Sony you would say they were afraid of his verdict.
